My name is Manya Goyal
I began this project with a simple yet powerful idea: to transform waste into something valuable. Growing up around traditional farming and sustainable practices, I was always fascinated by how nature recycles everything. That curiosity and a passion for making things better led me to explore ways of repurposing mustard seed residue into eco-friendly products.
This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to keep growing SARSOIL into something that can make a real difference.
Our Story
Sarsoil began with a question:
Could we utilize the leftover waste from mustard oil production to cultivate something even more valuable?
My father has been in the mustard oil business for over two decades, supplying several cities in India. Every day, large quantities of mustard residue are produced. Most people see it as a waste.
But I see something else.
As a student passionate about sustainability, entrepreneurship, and community impact, I realized this “waste” was full of life. So I created Sarsoil—a zero-waste project that transforms mustard oil residue into eco-products that give back to the soil, reduce chemical use, and support local women through hands-on production and packaging.
